Respite in Tube works over with services affected this weekend

A respite in Tube maintenance during the Olympic and Paralympic Games is over, with services on the Northern line due to be affected again from this weekend.

London Underground ceased its improvement works for more than a month in anticipation of thousands more visitors to the capital during the games.

People travelling from Barnet intro central London will be affected by the recommencement of the engineering work this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be no service between Charing Cross and Camden Town on the Northern line due to works on the Tottenham Court Road upgrade project

On Sunday there will be a later start to services between Camden Town and High Barnet /Mill Hill East, with services starting at 8:30am southbound and 9am northbound.

Remember that an enhanced frequency night bus route N20 may provide a suitable alternative between Camden Town and High Barnet on Sunday mornings when the High Barnet northern line branch is not operational
