The first picture of a 22-year-old killed in a motorbike crash in the early hours of Saturday morning has emerged.

The family of Mourad Keskas, who died when his Suzuki veered off the road and hit a sign post near Staples Corner, have released a picture of the University of East London student.

Mr Keskas, who lived in Hermitage Lane, Golders Green, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the eastbound entry slip road of the North Circular at 1.45am.

He was on his way home from dinner with friends in Hendon when he died.

The Arsenal fan had only been riding motorbikes for a year and was also learning to drive a car.

On Friday his family will fly his body to Algeria for a funeral.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash to call them on 0208 8421817.
