A Potters Bar teenager left devastated by the theft of her pet Chihuahua has been reunited with the dog after it was found by police.
Clarice Stokes was inconsolable when her prized pooch ‘Rocky’ was snatched outside Tesco Express, in Orchard Road, on Saturday, September 2.
The 16-year-old, of Cranbourne Road, was bought the pet by her parents as she recovered from major surgery, during which she lost her sight in one eye.
Officers executed a warrant at an address in Borehamwood on Tuesday and a man was arrested on suspicion of the theft.
He is due to answer bail tomorrow (Tuesday).
