More services moving into new hospital building More services moving into new hospital building

Finchley Memorial Hospital is working hard to finish moving services into its new building within the next few weeks.

A variety of services moved into the £28 million hospital in Granville Road last week but there are still others to be relocated.

So far, rehabilitation, inpatient beds, a walk-in centre, outpatients departments, diagnostics, podiatry, audiology and cardiology have moved into their new home.

Now talks are talking place on other services including GP surgeries, a pharmacy, diabetic retinopathy, pathology and an infusion suite moving in over the coming weeks.

The new hospital has been purpose built to replace the old Finchley Memorial Hospital which is on the same site.

When the new hospital is fully operational the old one will be demolished and the land will be turned into green space for the community.
