Barnet police find gun on A41

Barnet police found a handgun on the A41 this morning.

Officers were called at 8.30am following reports of a gun in the central reservation of the A41 near Junction 4.

Traffic was restricted while police awaited the arrival of a firearms team.

The gun has been sent for forensic examination.
