Children with severe learning disabilities are to receive a visit from a Paralympian next week.
Pupils at Woodlands School in Edgware will be visited on Thursday by Paralympic rower, and gold medallist, Naomi Riches.
Ms Riches, along with torchbearer, Joe Gilbert, will be visiting classes at the Bransgrove Road school with the gold medal and Olympic torch.
They will also be answering the children’s questions and getting involved in some sports lessons.
Parents of the school’s pupils will be invited to the event as will pupils from Wembley Primary School in East Lane.
