A children’s centre is hoping to win £20,000 in funding after being selected as a finalist in a campaign helping provide eduction for young people.
Parkfield Children’s Centre in Park Road, Hendon is one of the finalists for Nick Jr.’s Help Dora Help Campaign which is supported by The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts.
Help Dora Help aims to support nurseries and preschools in their educational curriculum.
Leanne White, manager at the centre said: “With the support of our community we’ll be able to offer a truly unique experience for our children, one that will profoundly build their knowledge and understanding of the world.”
If Parkfield wins, the money will be used to develop their early years’ playground to reflect various countries, cultures, seasons and festivals.
The winner will be decided by members of the public who can vote at nickjr.co.uk/helpdorahelp until November 2.
