Barnet Homes staff hope to raise more cash for Cancer Research UK
Colleagues have raised £1,500 for a cancer charity in memory of a workmate who died after losing a lengthy battle with the disease.
Barnet Homes’ employees have been fundraising in honour of Carly Bryan since taking part in a moonlight marathon on Saturday, September 29.
They hope to raise even more money for Cancer Research UK via their Just Giving page, Housing12.
Carly Bryan, who was a housing advisor for the housing service, was just 27-years-old when she died.
Katie Becker, Barnet Homes employee, said: “Carly lost her life at a very young age and we wanted to do this mammoth walk and dedicate it to her memory, as well as raise money to help find new treatments for cancer.
“She was a very friendly person and we miss her cheeky ways.”
