Schoolgirls swapped their uniforms for jeans to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

Pupils and staff at The Mount School in Milespit Hill, Mill Hill, paid £1 to wear their denim attire as part of Jeans for Genes Day on Friday, October 5.

The girls also sold denim ribbon pins and zip pulls for £1, raising a total of £477.

Jeans for Genes Day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, which aims to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.
