Police close Ballards Lane in Finchley after person hit by motorbike

Police have closed off part of Ballards Lane in Finchley Central after a pedestrian was hit by a motorbike.
Officers have sealed off the road near The Grove, north of Finchley Central tube station, and paramedics are at the scene.
Traffic is building in the surrounding areas as rush hour approaches and Transport for London (TfL) is diverting several bus routes.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed it has sent paramedics to the scene but was unable to confirm the extent of any injuries.
A spokeswoman said: "Our single responder came across a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle at Ballards Lane at just before 4:05pm. We then sent an ambulance crew to the scene. The single responder and the ambulance crew are currently standing by at the scene."
TfL has warned motorists to expect delays divertions are in place on bus routes 82, 125, 143, 326, 382, 460, 626 and 683.
