Retired older people enjoyed a range of activities as part of a charity open day on Saturday.
More than 150 people turned out to Barnet U3A’s event where they could try their hand at new skills including creative writing, pilates and singing at the Hyde Room at Chipping Barnet Library in Stapleton Road.
Guests also found out about more than 100 of the charity's activities including scrabble, tap dancing, table tennis, chess, book groups, needlework and much more.
Ian McCannah, co-chair of the charity, said: “I think there is a need for Barnet U3A for people who are retired and wanting to do something with their lives.
“It helps people to have a healthy and active lifestyle as well as socialise.”
On Saturday, fifty people signed up to the charity which now has more than 1,000 members across Barnet.
The group meets every first Thursday of the month at Ewen Hall in Wood Street, Barnet.
