Leader of Barnet council Richard Cornelius says it is very disappointing that Barnet Football Club have “decided to leave the borough.”
The Bees played their final match at Underhill, the club’s home of 106 years, on Saturday and will move to The Hive complex, which is in Harrow, next season.
Councillor Cornelius said: “It is very disappointing that the club has decided to leave the borough.
“The council has always been happy to extend the lease and the land on the proviso this is for football purposes only.”
