Drink it Juice Bar run by people with learning disabilities will be serving up healthy shakes at Gefiltefest tomorrow.
The juice bar in East Finchley faces closure if it fails to raise £5,000 by the end of the year but hopes events like this will help keep it open for business.
Gefiltefest is a festival devoted to food and Judaism and will be held at London’s Ivy House on Sunday, May 20.
Laura Davitt, Barnet Mencap's project coordinator, said: “We are going to be completely kosher on the day and we’re hoping lots of people will come along and try our drinks.
“This will be a good opportunity for people to see our mobile juice bar in action.”
The Times Series has launched Give us Some Juice campaign to raise cash to save the juice bar. To make a donation pop into Barnet Mencap in Hendon Lane, Finchley or visit www.justgiving.com/drinkitjuicebar
