The sister of murdered Norbury florist Jaap Bornkamp, stabbed in a suspected homophobic attack, has made an emotional appeal to catch his killers two years on from his death.

Gerda Bos flew over from the Netherlands to pay a poignant visit to the spot where her brother was killed two years ago in a fresh bid to bring his attackers to justice.

She joined police in New Cross Road on June 2, laying flowers at the scene as officers questioned motorists and passers-by in a renewed attempt to find his killers.

Dutch-born Jaap Bornkamp, who lived on Norbury Hill, was knifed once in the chest as he and a companion left a well-known gay sauna early in the morning on June 4, 2000 in New Cross.

Two men brushed past Mr Bornkamp as they walked past him and it wasn't until a few minutes later that he realised he had been stabbed. He was taken to Lewisham Hospital but died after three hours of surgery.

Despite the fact that his suspected attackers were caught on CCTV approaching the 52-year-old and his partner, police have still been unable to identify them.

Both men caught on camera are thought to have come from the New Cross area.

The attack is being treated as a homophobic attack and there is a £20,000 reward including £10,000 from Mr Bornkamp's relatives for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of his killers.
