At this time of year, we all need a pick me up or a boost to help with getting back to work or just to recover from the strain of Xmas. Or perhaps, you’re just feeling low or overwhelmed.

Also, it’s cold, dark and windy outside and spring and summer seems a long way off.

If you can relate to all of the above and live in Barnet, help is available via the Mood Booster Programme.

What is a Mood Booster? Well, it is an innovative, easy to use, online, live, tailored, therapeutic intervention delivered by accredited clinicians to improve your wellbeing and to provide you with practical strategies on how to positively improve your wellbeing.

Interested? So, how do you take part?

The Mood Booster Programme is delivered using webinar technology.

What is a webinar I hear you ask?

Well, it is an on-line, interactive presentation and or workshop allowing participants in different locations to see and hear a presenter, ask questions and answer polls.

Participating is easy and you just need access to the internet via a smartphone, laptop or tablet.

Worried about confidentiality? Don’t worry because during the online sessions, you remain anonymous i.e. other participants cannot see or hear you.

You don’t have to ask questions – if you wish, you can just sit back with a cuppa and listen to the presenter. It is up to you and there isn’t any pressure to join in with the questions.

And best of all, the Mood Booster Programme is available free of charge to all Barnet residents.

The next session starts 11 January 2018 at 8pm to 9pm and last 6 weeks. And don’t forget, it’s free to join. And it’s easy to join and to participate.

And if you’re busy on Thursday evening, you can watch the recording at another date/time convenient to you.

Take that first step towards improving your wellbeing and register today. Further details are available on the Community Barnet website here
