Residents in Cricklewood have been evacuated from their homes, and roads in the area are in chaos following a blaze at a garage containing a highly flammable gas.

The London Fire Brigade were called at just after 5.30am this morning to the incident at single storey lock-up in Hassop Road.

A 200 metre exclusion zone was set up by police in the surrounding area and around 40 residents were moved from their homes due to the presence of acetylene gas cylinders.
