Pupils took a trip down memory lane as they celebrated eight decades of their school with a special party.
Children from Sunnyfields School, in Hatchcroft, Hendon, dressed in outfits from days gone by for an end of term celebration.
The school opened in 1934 and to mark the anniversary, teachers organised a picnic, which included musical performances from current pupils.
Parents were also invited to enjoy the summer sunshine on the school grounds with their children as part of the event.
Pupils and teachers also welcomed a visit from Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins, who came to officially open the school's new pond.
As part of the celebrations, pupils buried a time capsule and launched balloons into the sky.
