Radio presenters will visit a care centre to mark the launch of a charity appeal.
The Barnet Young Carers and Siblings (BYCAS) team at Barnet Carers Centre has been chosen as a beneficiary of Global Radio’s charity appeal “Make Some Noise”, which was launched last week.
Classic FM’s John Suchett, Heart’s Emma Willis and James O’Brien and Duncan Barkes from LBC will visit the centre in Ballards Lane, North Finchley on Wednesday.
They will meet the carers, and record them talking about what the job means to them.
“Make Some Noise” will award grants to projects that help children and young people affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.
