A woman was detained after being spotted on railway tracks this morning.
Rail services through Borehamwood were delayed after British Transport Police officers were called to Cricklewood railway station shortly after 9.45am this morning to reports of a woman on the tracks.
A spokesman said: “Colleagues from the London Ambulance Service also attended the incident, which was reported to BTP shortly after 9.45am. The woman was detained under the Mental Health Act and was taken to hospital.
“The lines have now reopened.”
Railway services are now facing delays of up to an hour following the incident.
