Enthusiastic young designers will be sharpening their pencils for a national competition.
Pupils from Bishop Douglass School, in Hamilton Road, East Finchley, have been picked out of more than 200 schools to pitch a design brief for the 2015 Design Ventura prize.
They will compete against nine other schools for the prize, which is run annually by the Design Museum in central London.
The winning team will be announced in February, and will have their work displayed at the museum, and eventually sold in the museum’s shop for charity.
