Two sisters raised more than £500 for charity between them by taking part in a 40-mile bike ride.
Connie Dickie, who works at UK Power Networks in Potters Bar, and her sister Emily completed the London to Reading bike ride on Sunday for the British Heart Foundation.
Connie, a communications and event lead at the power firm, decided to take part in the challenge following the loss of a family friend to cardiac arrest.
She said: “Heart illnesses affect so many and so when Tom, a personal trainer from my gym, suggested the ride I was one of the first to sign-up.
“Despite the blustery and wet weather conditions we completed the ride in just over four hours, which isn’t our best time but is a good achievement given Mother Nature's challenges.”
