A disabled swimming club is set to benefit from a £100 donation from a supermarket.
Sainsbury’s Potters Bar, in Darkes Lane, gave the cash to Barracudas Swimming Club as part of its community budget scheme.
The money will be used for new equipment for the club, which meets every Sunday at 11.30am in the Furzefield Centre, Potters Bar.
Store manager Paul Stephens said: ‘Our store is at the heart of the local community and it is important we can play our part to support it. The Barracudas Swimming Club is a valuable asset to the community and we are pleased that we could help.”
