Detectives investigating a suspected murder have announced that a second man arrested in connection will face no further action.

Milton Papadopoulos was found dead at his home in Parkfield View, Potters Bar, on October 22, 2014.

A 36-year-old man from Harold Hill, Havering, was arrested in December, and was due to answer police bail on Tuesday.

However, a spokesman for Hertfordshire Police confirmed that this was cancelled.

They added: “At this stage, the man will face no further action.”

The investigation so far has seen Arkadiusz Szarkowski, 42, of Abbs Cross Gardens in Hornchurch, charged with joint enterprise murder on March 12.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 2.

A 41-year-old from Romford was arrested on January 30 in connection with the death, and is due to answer police bail next Wednesday.

Police relaunched an appeal into the case earlier this month.
