Students were given an insight into the role of an MP and how Parliament works last week.
A total of 14 pupils, from Finchley and Golders Green, took part in the summer school run by Conservative MP Mike Freer.
The group spent two days in Westminster, where they were given a tour of the House of Commons and spoke to a Government whip, as well as working for two days with Public Health Barnet in the constituency.
The students ended the week back in Parliament, where they went head to head for a debate on English Votes for English Laws.
Mike Freer said: βItβs all about the role of an MP, it helps bring it to life for them. They see a lot of the local work and issues too.β
