Women are invited to tackle London’s MoonWalk as the charity celebrates 20 years of raising money for breast cancer.

Mike Freer, MP for Finchley & Golders Green, is the only man taking part in the event and is urging as many people to join them on Saturday May 14.

The aim is to raise as much money for breast cancer causes, and to raise awareness of the disease and so far, walks across the UK have raised over £1016m for the cause.

Mr Freer is also raising awareness for breast cancer in men.

He said: “I’ve been committed to the fight against breast cancer since before becoming an MP.

"I have pushed for a permanent static breast screening unit in my constituency, and I am pleased that the business case for this has now been approved after a six year campaign.”

The walks will begin at midnight and women can choose to take on the half or full marathon challenges.
