THE QUEEN’S birthday was celebrated in style at at a care home this weekend.
People who live at Sunridge Court Residential Home, in Golders Green, wore face masks of the Queen and ate biscuits in the shape of Her Majesty's silhouette.
The birthday party, held on May 15, also included bunting.
The residents, who are all over 90, enjoyed sharing memories about their own experiences during the Queen’s reign as well as reminiscing about where they were during moments in history.
The families of residents as well as staff also joined in the party, which included watching a documentary following the Queen’s life.
Sunridge Court’s will open its doors for ‘Care Home Open Day’ on Friday June 17.
