IT was a father’s v children challenge in a special Formula one competition earlier this month.
A giant Scalextric track proved popular in Edgware’s Broadwalk centre, as families raced to win the number one prize on Saturday June 18.
Father Alwyn D’Mello, won the race by driving his car around 24 laps of the track, and won a bottle of champagne and £50 shopping vouchers.
Angela Brooks, centre manager, said: “Our Father’s Day track challenge was a great success and it was lovely to see families together having fun whilst enjoying their day shopping at their local shopping centre.”
