PUPILS were flying high after a school trip became a dream come true.
Students from Oaklodge School in East Finchley, were given the chance to fly in a light aircraft today (July 21).
The majority of pupils had never flown before, and three of the pupils were wheelchair users.
The day became reality after staff at Zurich's London office raised over £1200 through a staff raffle.
Cristina Hernandez, challenge team leader at Zurich said the fundraising was “worth the effort when we saw the pupils’ excitement today.”
Sally Adams, a teacher at Oak Lodge School said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed their day which was made possible by Zurich’s staff.
“Not only through their fund raising but more importantly having an amazing day supporting our students.”
