A BARNET couple are welcoming people to enjoy their award-winning garden while raising money for the North London Hospice.
Ron and Miriam Raymond, who live in Great North Road, Barnet, have previously won the best front garden award at Barnet in Bloom.
Mr Raymond said: “Although suffering from the heat and lack of rain, the front garden is still a riot of colour and the specialist pots in the back garden are putting on a fine show.”
Neighbours have been opening their green gardens to the public all summer, as part of the National Gardens Scheme, which raises money for nine charities including MacMillan Cancer, Marie Curie, and Hospice UK.
Refreshments will be on offer and plants will be on sale too.
People can view the garden, close to the Hole in the Wall café, from 2-5.30pm, on Sunday July 31.
