Police are trying to trace a man in connection with a violent kidnap in Edgware last July.
Terry Skinner, 24, also known as Henry James Cooper, is wanted by police after a kidnapped man was rescued from a cannabis factory in Burnt Oak.
The kidnap, according to police, was a violent and premeditated crime where the kidnappers requested a large sum of money and seriously injured their victim.
Detective constable Jason Niblett, from the Kidnap and Specialist Investigation Team, said: "This kidnap was particularly violent and the victim suffered a terrifying ordeal.
"I would urge anyone who may have seen Terry Skinner or who has any other information to contact us."
It is believed that Mr Skinner is in the east London area. Anyone with information should contact DC Niblett on 0207 230 8933 or provide information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The public are advised not to approach Mr Skinner but to contact police on 999 or one of the numbers above.
