THE Humphrey Lyttelton band is set to give a performance at a gala night hosted by comedian Barry Cryer in aid of the Barnet Parkinson's Disease society.
The jazz band is giving its time for free to the charity, which Lyttelton, who lived in Barnet, supported as his wife suffered from the disease.
Mark Monk, chairman of the society and friend of 'Humph', a legendary musician and broacaster, said: “There is a lot of research being done at Edgware Hospital, which has a Parkinson's clinic we like to support.
“All the money goes locally and we like to raise the money locally. It's going to be a really great evening with some excellent entertainment.”
