TWO men could be spending Christmas in prison after pleading guilty to attacking a vulnerable man after breaking down the door to his Barnet flat.

Richard Spall, 23, and new father Liam Sizer, 26, admitted to causing actual bodily harm and damaging property at Wood Green Crown Court this morning.

The pair, who both have criminal records, admitted attacking Jason Barrack, 37, at his flat in Neville House, Lynch Road, on August 8 last year.

Mr Barrack was left badly injured and shaken following the assault.

Judge Frasier Morrison told the pair: “In view of the level of seriousness of the matter you have admitted it's appropriate if the probation report deals with all sentencing options.

“I have not made up my mind but you need to know one of the options will be custody.”

They are due to return to Wood Green Crown Court on December 21 for sentencing.
