A PENSIONER has died after being hit by a car in a Hendon back road last Thursday.
Police were called to Eaton Road at 10.45am last Thursday after a cyclist, believed to be in his 70s, was knocked off his bike.
He was rushed to hospital but later died.
Officers believe they know the man’s identity, although he has not been formally identified as they are still trying to trace the next of kin. A post mortem is due to take place tomorrow.
