Man faces court hearing over child sex charges carried out in Barnet

A MAN is due to appear in court today charged with carrying out lewd behaviour in front of two children.

Andrew Moore, of Albury Ride, Cheshunt, will appear before Enfield Magistrates Court for a bail hearing on two charges relating to offences carried out in Barnet.

The 45-year-old stood before the same court on Saturday charged with one count of attempting to engage in sexual activity in front of a child in Lyonsdown Road, last Thursday.

He faces a second charge of carrying out behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress against a 13-year-old girl in Russell Lane, on June 29 last year.

Police have also charged him with one offence of common assault against a 14-year-old girl in Fernleigh Road, Enfield, between December 1, 2008, and January 1, 2009.
