TEENAGE sailor Michael Perham who is the youngest solo sailer to have travelled round the world has recounted his experiences in a newly-published book.

Michael, from Potters Bar, goes to Oaklands College in St Albans, and at 17 was the youngest person to sail round the world when he completed a nine-month voyage in August last year.

His book, Sailing The Dream, tells the tale of his epic 30,000-mile journey, battling fatigue, huge waves and numerous technical problems.
