A COLINDALE man has been jailed after trying to sell sick pictures of a murdered Harry Potter actor to a Sunday newspaper.

Charaf Elmoudden, 20, of The Concourse, Grahame Park, pleaded guilty to handling the stolen pictures of teenager Rob Knox last month at Wood Green Crown Court.

Yesterday he was jailed for 15 months in a young offenders institution and warned he faces deportation upon his release.

Mr Knox, who appeared in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, was stabbed to death trying to defend his brother in a fight in Sidcup, south London, in 2008.

His killer Karl Bishop is serving a 20-year sentence.

Elmoudden tried to sell the sick pictures of his autopsy to a journalist from the Sunday People newspaper last year, but was caught in a sting operation by police.

He has never revealed how he came to have possession of the pictures, which were exhibits at the trial of Bishop.
