AN UNRULY gang of youths causing trouble for residents and businesses in Finchley have been arrested by police.
Four of the nine known to police to regularly hang around Tally Ho Corner have already been arrested for either breaching ASBOs or affray, with one due to appear in Wood Green Crown Court.
Officers say the nine men, aged around 20, are frequently joined by around 30 younger children who join in their criminal activities.
PCSO Lee Redworth, in charge of ASBO applications, said: "This group have caused considerable concern for the residents of the area, and we are treating them very seriously.
"The ultimate aim is for all of them to either be arrested and convicted or given ASBOs, enabling us to more stringently enforce their behaviour.
"I can assure the residents we will not stop until they are dealt with and we will not tolerate this kind of behaviour in our borough."
Two of the group, Alvaro Vilhette, 20 and John John Kalima-Tumba, 19, already have ASBOs preventing them associating with certain people and entering some areas.
