A TALENTED Finchley family will perform live on a television on Sunday.
Known as Jacobs Street, the family will sing and dance for the public's votes on Channel 5’s new show, Don’t Stop Believing, which starts at 7pm.
The talent show is inspired by the Channel 4 comedy-drama, Glee.
Dad Laurence, mum Bebe, and grown-up children Alex, Avi, and Shira, will all bring their own unique talents to the group.
Beating off competition from 8,000 applications, Jacobs Street reached the top 30 to get to the live semi-final stage.
Bebe said: "We are all really, really excited to be able to share our talent and to entertain so many people. It will be a lot of fun, and we’re happy to do it together.
"It will be a memorable family experience which we can share with our grandchildren - it will be one for the photo album!"
The family applied by submitting a video of themselves, after seeing an advert for the show on Facebook around three months ago.
They impressed the judges with their rendition of the Jackson 5’s I Want You Back, and found out they were selected to go through to the semi-finals about month ago.
They describe their style as a mixture of musical theatre and pop, and believe that by being the only family on the show, they have the edge over their rivals.
Bebe added: "We’re performing together and that’s something special to us and we know each other so well.
"This comes through, and people say they can feel the chemistry between us as a family. So we’re hoping the bond that we have will come across to people."
