POTTERS Bar Fire Station will open its doors to the public today with a series of dramatic demonstrations.
The Mutton Lane facility will be open for families to look around between 12pm-3pm and firefighters will be demonstrating hydraulic cutting equipment by chopping up a car.
Cadets will carry out a water drill and there will be a demonstration about chip pan fires, while youngsters can also enjoy a merry-go-round and inflatable slides.
