A MAN armed with a crossbow in East Barnet last night is today receiving treatment in a central London hospital.
Armed police units attended the house at Crescent Road just after 6.30pm last night to reports that a man had locked himself in a room armed with a crossbow.
Members of his family were escorted out of the house by officers and a police negotiator was called in.
The man was coaxed from his home by officers at 11.40pm and is currently being treated in hospital.
