Proposals have been put forward to redevelop a dilapidated “eyesore” into 60 flats and offices in North Finchley.
Whetstone based developer Turnhold Properties has submitted its planning application to Barnet Council proposing to regenerate the former Furnitureland store in High Road.
Garry Simpson, director of Turnhold said: “The current building has been vacant for over six years and has become a local eyesore.
“We have worked closely with Barnet’s planning department to design a scheme which will enhance and regenerate this prominent part of the High Street and provide high quality housing and modern office space.”
The plans are for one, two and three bedroom flats.
