Police believe that Saturday’s fatal stabbing in Dollis Hill occurred following a disagreement in a pub.

Police and paramedics were called to Coles Green Road at 11.30pm on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.

A 25-year-old man, who has not been formally identified yet, died at the scene.

A post-mortem, conducted at Northwick Park Hospital mortuary yesterday gave a stab wound as the cause of death.

A 56-year-old was also injured and is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Both victims had been at the Ox and Gate pub in Coles Green Road where people had gathered to watch the Champions League final.

It is believed that a fight broke out which then spilled outside the pub before the victims were stabbed in Crest Road.

DCI Tim Duffield said: "We urgently need to hear from anyone who was in or near the Ox and Gate pub around 23.30hrs that evening.

"The pub was still very busy at that time, and we are confident that several people will have seen elements of what happened - we urge them to come forward and contact the incident room. If they wish to remain anonymous they may call Crimestoppers."

Three men were arrested on Saturday night in connection with the incident and taken to separate London police stations.

Two 17-year-olds remained in custody last night and a 31-year-old was bailed to return late in June pending further inquries.
