Weather warnings remain in place as June monsoon continues
A Met Office weather warning is still in place for heavy rain in London this morning.
Further rain fell overnight and more is expected this morning, however, the yellow warning elapses at midday as the rain is expected to gradually ease.
The Met Office is warning that there is a risk of localised surface water flooding and river flooding as more rain falls on the already saturated ground.
People are also being warned that there could be more travel problems today as a result of the unseasonal weather.
