Shoppers in Edgware are being offered the opportunity to experience a netball training session tomorrow.

The Broadwalk Centre in Station Road will be hosting Inglis Netball, a ladys’ netball team who train at Burnt Oak Sports Centre.

The team will be offering shoppers the chance to join their training sessions and to try their hand at some of the skills used in the sport.

The Broadwalk Centre is hosting a different local sports club each Tuesday from 11am until 4pm as part of its Champion Tuesday sporting activities.

So far, more than 250 children have taken part.

The sporting activities will continue throughout the school holidays.

Dina Mistry, marketing manager of the centre, said: “We want to ensure the sports legacy remains beyond our five weeks of activity.

“By expanding our shoppers’ knowledge of the sport and fitness activites available locally we hope that Broadwalk visitors, young and old can discover a new and enjoyable activity that will aid their health and fitness.”
