Tory councillor Brian Coleman released on bail

Police have released Tory councillor Brian Coleman on bail.
Cllr Coleman, 51, was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with an alleged common assault in High Road, North Finchley.
The councillor is due to return to a North London police station at the end of October.
