You reported on the unacceptable situation in respect of Dollis Park (‘Neighbours at the ‘end of their tether’ over ‘eyesore’, Barnet & Potters Bar Times, July 10).
On behalf of the Dollis Park and District Residents’ Association, I would like to point out that we have been assured by the owner of the adjoining property that they have fully co-operated in dealing with the party wall issues and that the long delay is solely the responsibility of the developer.
The association is extremely angry and distressed at the behaviour of the owner over almost five years. Local residents are indeed at the end of their tether but are, seemingly, powerless to remedy the problem.
