Congratulations to Mr Elliot Moore for achieving that rare thing: a letter to a newspaper which one can imagine making a difference (‘MP was extremely patronising’, Your Views, July 31).
Mr Moore writes like a man who is not only without political bias but even without personal animosity towards the object of his attack. In consequence, his description of his first experience of the local MP carries immediate conviction. And it is devastating.
At least, if I were Mr Offord I wouldn’t find it easy to shrug off Mr Moore’s critique. I can imagine it costing him a vote or two at the election.
