I am writing in regards to Jim Brightwell’s letter (‘Turning 70 is not good news’, Your Views, August 14).
Oh Jim, Jim, Jim, I do hope your letter was tongue-in-cheek and not serious.
My husband, who is 72, completed the Tough Mudder course last year and has the T-shirt to prove it.
We all have our problems but having lost so much family at an early age you need reminding how precious life is at any age.
You need to live up to your name Mr Brightwell.
