I realise the local library is fighting for its existence, but the one thing that is essential is that it benefits local people, of whom I am one.
I’m a local author, and I live four minutes away from Chipping Barnet Library, yet they have consistently refused since 2012 to accept two of my published books, even when I offered them for free. Thanks a lot Chipping Barnet Library. So much for sourcing locally!
