I was concerned after reading an article regarding plans to turn the British Library’s National Newspaper Library into a block of flats.
The article explained our Labour candidate for the general election was worried the issue had not gone to committee, despite it having done so. In May, we get to vote for the person constituents feel best represents our interests – therefore, it seems odd Labour have put forward Mr Dismore, a chap who cannot even remember what applications have gone to committee at a local council level and which ones haven’t.
How can we feel confident of Mr Dismore possibly voting on bills in Parliament? He might forget which way his constituency need him to vote.
